My first DIY project ever posted on this blog has left the building. What seems like ages ago I covered our sad old fridge in patterned contact paper. Because I am a crazy person.

The fridge later stopped working properly (unrelated to the contact paper, promise) and gladly we are now getting a replacement (after nearly 6 months of badgering the management, but that's another story.)
Can I just say, that as happy as I am to now look forward to food that stays cold, fresh, and does not mold by the next day, I am also just a tiny bit sad at the sight of my first home DIY project leaving the building?
